From here you can catch a ferry to Bellagio, Menaggio or simply enjoy a boat ride to explore the many beautiful villas which surround the lake. Varenna has a railway station allowing easy access to Lecco, Monza and Milan, ideal for a day’s shopping and sightseeing.
Varenna, known, as the diamond of the lake, has many fine restaurants and lakeside bars and cafes where you can enjoy an aperitivo and admire the view.
In Winter months ski resorts at Bormio, St Moritz and Madesimo, to name a few, are easily accessible in less than 2 hours.
